Memorial day monday I woke up got ready as usual to go on my morning run. Since the Marathon I have taken a break to let my knee heal (I injured my IT band) and it has been so hard playing the waiting game. Spring and Summer is my favorite time to run and not being able to has been hard. I trained all winter and it was hell running @ 5:45 a.m. in the dark, snow, ice, sleet and 18° that just isn''t my idea of fun. Maybe I should remember that come next year spring marathons. Anyway it was raining of course this crazy Utah weather so I decided I was going to go anyway. I have never had so much fun running. It was pouring rain I was soaking wet and I felt like a kid again. I had my ipod turned up loud and I felt like dancing. I guess the kid in me came out. I have to say I was in a great mood all day, very therapeutic. HAPPY RUNNING!!!!!!!!!!
